Presenting Live Events Amid The COVID-19 Pandemic
For many of our presenters, this week marks one full year since the last “normal” concert took place in our venues. Shoulder-to-shoulder dancing, no masks, no temperature checks, much less hand sanitizer stations, and no waivers or contact tracing. Since then it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions, evolving restrictions, and hope. That said; right now, many of us are finally feeling more confident in planning for the future. We are going to hear from some of our experienced colleagues about how they have been safely presenting or booking concerts during the COVID-19 pandemic, what they have learned, and what they are planning for the rest of 2021. Then, we will break out into topic-specific groups where members can informally discuss related business in more detail.
Joining us are Patrick Brogan, Chief Programming Officer & Manager of the ArtsQuest Center; Richard Goldberg, President of Ultra Artists; and Bruce Ranes, Talent Acquisition Director at Sellersville Theater.
