All PA Presenters Members are invited to the Wednesday, July 13 Network Call, starting at 11:00 AM EST.

This month, we make time to come together and dig into topics that are on the minds of many of us – DEIAB, Partnerships and Rising Costs of Doing Business. We will break the hour into three breakout sessions, providing the opportunity for all attendees to participate in each topic:

    • Advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility & Belonging in our organizations – what steps are you taking to improve equity, diversity, inclusion, access & belonging within your organization and your organization’s offerings?
    • Partnerships & Collaborations – Share your most unique collaboration recently, or a partnership that has brought mutual success. What were your challenges? How did you evaluate?
    • Cost Management - How are presenters and artists handling the rising expenses? What can we do to plan ahead?

Register today and bring your thoughts and questions!

All PA Presenters Members are invited to the August 10, 2022 Annual Meeting & Network Call, starting at 11:00 AM EST.

We will continue our work with Diaz Inclusion Consulting and the second session in our three session series: "Breaking Down Bias."

Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 11 a.m.: Breaking Down Bias
In this workshop, we'll explore the spectrum of biases and where they come from. How is our development of identity and our socialization connected to the creation of bias, and what are some conscious tools and practices we can enact for bias prevention? Numerous relatable examples are provided in this informative, shame-free session!

Mark your calendars for the third and final session in the series:

Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11 a.m.: IDEA and the Performing Arts
This workshop takes a nuanced, exploratory look at Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) in the context of the performing arts. How do we use IDEA principles to support and further our institutional artistic missions? What should the connection between our IDEA mission and company mission look like? We'll address strategies and tactics for awareness and positive change that will inform individual and collective practice as arts leaders, including recommended performance indicators, planning steps, and realistic timelines.

The Network Call is open to all members - agents, artists, presenters, managers, funders, and students. You can extend the value to an additional 3 guests per Network Call as well.

Not a Member of Pennsylvania Presenters? PA Presenters membership is currently “Pay What You Can” for a limited time.  We want your involvement, so we have eliminated any financial barrier.  Click here to learn more and become a member of PA Presenters.

PA Presenters offers Members $100 stipends towards registration!

Ohio Arts Professionals Network (OAPN) has opened up their fall conference to non-members of OAPN, and they’ve invited regional consortiums, such as ours, to participate on their planning committees for this conference.

In turning to PA Presenters, as well as the other neighboring state consortiums, they’ve created non-member registration levels that are $100 above their member rates. We feel that this conference could serve our members well, and therefore we claim a small stake in seeing it be a success.

PA Presenters has therefore decided to provide a limited number of $100 stipends to PA Presenters members who register for OAPN’s conference this year. This will be on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted. We’ve budgeted for 20 to take advantage of this opportunity. Stipends will be allocated by member type and are based on current percentages of membership:

    • 10 Presenter Members
    • 7 Agent/Manager Members
    • 3 Artist Members

To receive this stipend, you MUST MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING criteria:

    • Be in good standing with PA Presenters with a current and active membership
    • If you utilized the “pay-what-you-can” offer for your current PA Presenters membership, you must have paid at least $100 towards your current membership to be eligible to receive this stipend. (To view your member amount, visit papresenters.org, login and click your name in the upper right corner. Dues Amount is available under Bundle Summary).
    • You must register to attend the OAPN conference (any level from a Single Day Pass to a Gold Full Access Pass) and submit a copy of your paid-in-full receipt with your Stipend application.
    • Attend the OAPN Conference in Toledo, September 11-14, 2022.
    • Limited to one person per member organization.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Stipend Payments will be issued following the conference and once attendance at the conference has been confirmed.

We will periodically announce updates, via our email blasts, in our monthly Zoom gatherings, and on our Facebook page, to inform our membership that stipends are still available as well as when we have issued all of the available stipends.

If you’re in a position to help us provide more stipends, or issue greater amounts, we welcome your donations. Please send a message to info@papresenters.org.

For more information about the OAPN conference, and to register, please visit their website.
